Hey Dorise,
I pulled out your book "Life Poems" this morning and began taking a close look at it. As I'm sure you know, many people simply pick up a book, turn to the first chapter and begin reading or skimming through it. Well, when I pick up a book, I closely examine each and every part of the book because there is always something to learn from when one does so.
I said all this to say, I am very proud of your accomplishment. I am sure you were elated when all of your work manifested itself in actual form. Just as a sport team that practices, plays and competes all season long to hopefully in the end hoist a magnificent trophy in the air demonstrating all of their hard work and commitment put forth. Your book is such a trophy, and I simply wanted to commend you on your accomplishment.
